About Dr. M.
I am a devoted Psychologist, mother, sister, daughter, and friend.
I am a devoted Psychologist, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. I have cultivated an extraordinary world of close, deep, and meaningful, connections with my clients. I have extensive clinical training and many years of experience to share with my clients.
I also have much experience in the space of being human. I too experience life’s sorrows, disappointments, anxieties, setbacks. I always practice what I preach to find my strength, reframe my thoughts, adjust my behaviors, and move forward even stronger, bringing my clients with me along the way!
I see myself as a clinician, life coach, and unwavering source of support for my clients.
I work extensively with cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques. I firmly believe that our inner narratives or “self-talk” determines how we feel and function in the world. I help clients reveal their unhealthy self-dialogues. When we are kinder to ourselves internally, when we don’t “what if”, when we steer towards rational thoughts, our worlds become brighter and less anxious. Whether our worlds are comprised of “big” or “small” issues is irrelevant, what matters is living the best internal life we can!
I work on communication styles to improve relationships and decrease anxiety and sadness. I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques into my work with clients as well. My goal is always to carefully tailor my work to each individual client’s needs.

I earned my Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University, with Honors. I am a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society, American Psychological Association, and the New Jersey Psychological Association. I have been a professional commentator on the Dr. Oz show. I have also presented on mental health for the New York Yankees.
More recently, I have become certified as a Ketamine Assisted Therapist in collaboration with Skylight Psychedelics. Using Ketamine to assist clients in digging deeper and getting to the core of their emotional discomfort has been an amazing journey. Here I help clients to breakdown rigid thinking, uncover places they are stuck, and gain an enhanced sense of connectedness to the world. I have treated clients with depression, anxiety, obsessive thought patterns, relationship issues, addictions, and existential distress. We work to understand and integrate what comes up during the ketamine sessions into our therapy sessions and lives. I believe psychedelics will play a significant role in the future of psychotherapy.
